Litigation & Forensic Services

An expert opinion when you need it most.

We are committed to providing comprehensive, defensible, and evidence-based opinions for litigation. We are experienced in implementing evidence-based, ethical, and best-practice standards for vocational evaluations, record reviews, and vocational rehabilitation.

Consultation

Retaining a vocational expert can swiftly change the dynamics of a case. Consultation is a discreet means of benefiting from the knowledge and experience of a vocational expert without having to disclose their contributions to other involved parties.

Comprehensive Vocational Evaluation

A comprehensive vocational evaluation includes a review of pertinent records, psychometric assessment, and collection of relevant personal history through a clinical interview. We customize our selection of assessments for each case to best answer the questions at hand.

Vocational Opinion Rendered from Record Review

The dynamics of litigation may prevent the vocational expert from communicating directly with an evaluee. A vocational opinion may still be rendered based on records made available to the vocational expert.

The Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification is the leading professional organization in the rehabilitation counseling profession. Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRC’s) are “the only professional counselors educated and trained at the graduate-level who possess the specialized knowledge, skills, and attitudes to work collaboratively with individuals with disabilities.” All of our forensic evaluators abide by the CRCC’s Code of Ethics.

Certified Vocational Evaluation Specialists (CVE’s) have demonstrated the ability to “provide comprehensive vocational assessment services to consumers with a range of disabilities, education levels, and work experience.” Our CRC’s are uniquely equipped to address the complex considerations of rehabilitation and disability within litigation. This certification is maintained by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC). All CVE’s are bound by the CRCC’s Code of Ethics.

The International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP) is the “only organization focused on and committed to comprehensively serving the professional private rehabilitation industry.” The IARP Forensic Section is comprised of vocational experts, life care planners, and vocational economists. Our forensic evaluators maintain membership in the IARP Forensic Section and engage in ongoing training opportunities.
